L.L. Bean Flannel

Shirt: L.L. Bean // Vest: J.Crew // Pants: Hello Caroline // Bag: MZ Wallace

It is officially CHRISTMASTIME!
This L.L. Bean flannel shirt is one of my absolute favorites for this time of year! It is not only SO comfy, machine washable and comes in a bunch of different patterns/colors, but is also a GREAT price!

I usually only shop at L.L. Bean for tote bags and slippers, but have recently discovered how cute some of their clothes are! Be sure to check out L.L. Bean for lots of holiday favorites!

Are any of you out shopping for black friday deals?!
Happy weekend, my friends!

Transitional Denim Dress

Dress: Target // Turtleneck: Old Navy // Boots: Chinese Laundry
Necklace: J.Crew // Bracelets: Lily & Laura // Rings: David Yurman (one // two // three)

Happy Wednesday, ladies!

This look is a preview of an outfit I may wear for Thanksgiving! I saw a similar look online and decided to re-create it and make it my own! I'm always looking for pieces that can be versatile and worn throughout the ever-changing seasons.

I wore this dress in our Christmas card photos which were taken in July and then again last week, but this time with a turtleneck and boots! The dress itself is from Target, along with a super soft Old Navy tissue turtleneck. I seriously felt like I was wearing my pajamas all day! Don't you just love when an outfit looks put together, but is also so comfy?!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, my loves!
I am so thankful for the opportunities I have been given through this blog over the past couple of years. I can't wait to continue to see where it takes me and what the future has in store!

Lots of love from Boston,
Courtney

Show & Tell Tuesday / EarlyThrow Back Thursday

Welcome to a new series!
Every Thursday I am going to be "throwing it back" and revamping/re-introducing a past post! Some of ya'll are new, and haven't had a chance to see all of the content on MsCourtneyLeighB, so here is your chance to make sure you don't miss out on the really good stuff! I have updated all the links and if any of the items were not longer in stock I have put in this year's version!

Oh, and for those of you who are confused because today is Tuesday and not Thursday, I have not totally lost my mind! I decided to bring together my "Show and Tell Tuesday" and "Throw Back Thursday" this week because I will be a tad bit busy on Thursday to be putting up a blog post!

If you live in New England, or somewhere cold like I do, you see the L.L Bean Boot EVERYWHERE in the wintertime. These boots have been around for decades and are truly a staple in any winter wardrobe. While you may think I'm crazy for talking about Bean Boots in October (November) I'm really just looking out for my awesome followers. I made the mistake last year of waiting too long to buy my Bean Boots. I was going to ask for them for Christmas and by the end of November they were GONE. Every color, every style, practically every size... GONE. I got them on back order and ended up getting them delivered in March! I got to wear them maybe once or twice. Soooo this year I am looking forward to getting lots of good use out of my favorite winter boots.

**UPDATE: luckily at this time they are still in stock, but do not wait, the Christmas rush is coming and they will go!**

Below are some outfit ideas I compiled for how to wear your Bean Boots, but honestly they can be worn with just about anything. Remember that they are snow boots, not Louboutins. You do not need to make a huge fashion statement with them, you just need to keep your feet dry and warm

Outfit #1: Top // Vest // Pants // Black Bean Boot
Outfit #2: Top // Pullover // Jeans // Brown Bean Boot
Outfit #3: Top // Vest // Jeans // Navy Bean Boot

Bean Boot Round up:
1. Order NOW. They run true to size, but sell out fast, so get yours now. They are made in Maine, one pair at a time, so you best believe that your Bean Boots will be coming to you made with love!

2. Buy the L.L Bean Boot liners. These sherpa liners add extra comfort and warmth to your boots, and also help with the wear and tear of the sole. The bottom is constructed with EVA foam for comfort and the soft shearling helps to regulate foot temperature.

3. Want to know how to tie your boots? Read here, thanks Prep Avenue!

4. And don't forget to get some cozy socks:) While I wish I could say I'm completely kidding with this entire post, that summer is just around the corner and that we should all go out and shop for Jack Rogers, we can't because WINTER IS COMING. So we might as well prepare!
Below are some of my fav socks!

Top Row: J.Crew
Bottom Row: Old Navy

As always, thanks for reading! Enjoy your Bean Boots

Old Navy Staples

Top: Old Navy // Vest: J.Crew // Jeans: Hello Caroline // Booties: Dolce Vita
Bag: MZ Wallace // Sunglasses: Ray Ban // Scarf: Old Navy

Happy Monday, babes!

Today I wanted to share with you my love for Old Navy! I have always had great luck there (I know some of you struggle) but I think it is due in part to my ability to find pieces that are transitional and simple. I don't necessarily rely on Old Navy for my cutting edge statement pieces, but I do use them as a resource for finding everyday staples to pair with the rest of my wardrobe! Take this green top and infinity scarf for example; On their own they are nothing special or out of the ordinary, but with a fun pair of jeans, a comfy and on-trend vest, and a beautiful tote, they help to complete and outfit and give a relaxed, but put together look!

Old Navy not only has great prices, but they are always having sales and deals! Another thing I love about Old Navy is that their website is linked with the Gap, Athletica and Banana Republic. Now when shopping online at all my favorite stores it is so simple. When you place items in your "cart" they all combine, making your checkout process so quick and easy!

The infinity scarf shown in these pictures comes in a bunch of different colors and also has matching hat and gloves. These would make GREAT gifts this holiday season for a yankee swap, for your bestie or for someone special whom you don't know exactly what to get them. You can't go wrong with hat, gloves and/or a scarf! Everyone loves them!

Have a great week, my girls! Looking forward to bringing LOTS of new looks your way along with some great gift guides and holiday inspiration.
